Lower Primary students need a Chinese programme that helps them excel academically while still enjoying learning the language.

ENGAGE AND EXCEL

Striking the right balance between being academic and being engaging is difficult. As parents, we want to ensure that our kids are well prepared for their exams/checkpoints without killing their interest in Chinese with overly academic classes.

Our primary school syllabus is put together by a team of curriculum experts with intimate knowledge of the latest MOE curriculum. To ensure your child excels, every lesson has a suitable amount of in-class worksheets and homework.

However, too much drilling will inevitably cause your child to dislike Chinese. That is why we engage your child by combining engaging teachers with our in-class apps. From winning digital coins from answering questions to team-based games, we utilise technology to ensure learning is engaging.

The combination of academically rigorous material with engaging teachers and classroom will ensure your child excels at Chinese while still enjoying it!

REVISION CAN BE FUN AND EFFECTIVE

Revision and building a solid vocabulary foundation are the secrets to mastery in Chinese. Weak vocabulary is usually the culprit to common issues such as children disliking Chinese, struggling at compo and compre, and inability to read. From our years of experience, we notice that as children’s vocabulary improves, reading and writing become easier, and they naturally become more interested in Chinese.

However, getting unwilling students to revise Chinese can be a challenge. That’s why we make learning fun again by letting students revise through fun pet collection games. Rather than revision being a chore, it becomes fun as your child captures pets by answering Chinese questions.

In addition, we know many students require more help with common problem areas. That’s why our teachers record weekly videos explaining key problem areas like composition, comprehension and oral so your children can revise and review in their own free time.

Regular revision is the key to succeeding in Chinese, but unfortunately many Singaporean students hate revising Chinese.

We have helped thousands of students adopt healthy revision habits via our Pet Battle system, where students answer Chinese questions to collect pets and win rewards like books and toys.

Every question your child answers is part of a personalised revision plan created by our AI system, specifically designed to close knowledge gaps and reinforce tricky areas.

Online Learning Videos
Weekly compo & compre videos

As parents ourselves, we know one class a week can be insufficient to help our children excel, especially for challenging sections like composition and comprehension.

That’s why our teachers record weekly videos targeting these tricky areas, allowing your children to review and revise in their own free time.

LOWER PRIMARY PROGRAMMES

PRIMARY ONE

P1 is a major transition process for your child. We make the transition as seamless as possible while ensuring your child retains a love for learning Chinese.

Our P1 classes (1hr 45mins a week) prepares him or her for the common pitfalls like hanyu pinyin and show and tell in the first half of the year, and comprehension and writing in the second half.

PRIMARY TWO

There is a noticeable step-up in difficulty in P2, with longer
comprehension passages and more in-depth vocabulary. While there are no official exams, most primary schools will have checkpoints and
assessments of comparable difficulty.

Our P2 classes (1hr 45mins a week) are holistic, with a greater focus on oral, composition and comprehension.

PRIMARY THREE

P3 is another major transition point, with the first official examinations, more difficult formats for both composition and comprehension, and more difficult vocabulary to learn.

Our P3 classes (1hr 45mins a week) help students transition, while teaching them the exam techniques to cope with the “3+1” composition and open-ended comprehension questions.
