HOW IT WORKS?

Online Zoom Class

It's critical that students get "face-to-face" time with their teachers. Thus, students will interact and learn from our experienced teachers via live classes conducted on Zoom (1.5 hours for P4, 2 hours for P5 and P6). In addition, we incorporate our proprietary technology to make classes more engaging.

Fun Revision

The key to mastering Chinese is revision, but it can be difficult for us parents to get kids to revise Chinese. We provide kids digital incentives to do vocabulary and assessment revision, helping them revise in fun, bite-sized sessions.

Submission of Written Materials

For Chinese, a key concern about online classes is whether it can promote good writing habits. That is why we encourage parents to scan and send to us your child's completed in-class assignments, and our teachers will mark and ensure your child is writing correctly.

PRIMARY THREE

P3 is another major transition point, with the first official examinations, more difficult formats for both composition and comprehension, and more difficult vocabulary to learn.

Our P3 classes (1hr 45mins a week) help students transition, while teaching them the exam techniques to cope with the “3+1” composition and open-ended comprehension questions.

  • Based off latest MOE P3 syllabus, with a focus on composition, comprehension and oral
  • Teach students how to tackle "3+1" composition question (四幅图) and in-depth vocabulary including idioms
  • Exercises on how to deal with new comprehension format, including open-ended questions and note-writing (便条)
  • Weekly oral practice to improve oral confidence and proficiency
  • Digital reward system and team-based games to make classroom learning engaging and effective
  • Complimentary video recordings and vocabulary exercises via online learning
  • Mock tests to prepare kids for school examinations

PRIMARY FOUR

Comprehension becomes significantly harder into P4, as questions become harder and require more understanding rather than just wholesale copying from the passage.

Our P4 classes (2hrs a week) will equip your child with the techniques to tackle the new comprehension formats, and we will also introduce oral video practice (new PSLE format).

  • Based off latest MOE P4 syllabus, with a focus on composition, comprehension and oral
  • Teach students how to tackle various composition formats, including picture compositions and book reviews
  • Exercises on how to deal with new comprehension format, including open-ended questions and note-writing
  • Oral exercises including new oral video format

PRIMARY FIVE

For many students, the transition to P5 can be difficult, as they will face more challenging compositions and comprehensions, and more abstract vocabulary. School examination papers are also usually more difficult in preparation for PSLE next year.

Our P5 classes (2hrs a week) help students transition, while teaching them the exam techniques to cope with the “5+1” composition and open-ended comprehension questions.

  • Based off latest MOE P5 syllabus, with a focus on composition, comprehension and oral

Online providers normally fall under two categories: a) Singaporean enrichment centres that provide online classes, and b) overseas companies where tutors are based overseas.

We are the former: we are a well-established centre in Singapore, with a time-tested curriculum and experienced teachers. Our goal is to provide online classes with similar quality as our physical classes, led by teachers who understand the unique requirements of Singaporean students.

In fact, all our online teachers also teach classes at our physical centre, as our focus is to ensure our online classes meet the same stringent quality
standards as our physical classes.

We conduct our online classes on Zoom.

At the end of the lesson, students are asked to submit their to us via email. Our teachers will review and mark it, and send it back to students.
